Music sites

PCSpix.com allows you to upload/download audio files in many formats: MIDI (.MID), Qualcomm PureVoice (.QCP), MMF and PMD.  Where do you find these files?  Here is a list of sites recommended by other PCSpix.com users, simply download the .MID,.QCP,.MMF, or .PMD file to your PC and then upload it to PCSpix.com.

You can also record your own personal ring tones! QCP audio files are comparable to .WAV and .MP3 files. In three easy steps you can record 'Bob, you have a call' in your OWN voice and associate it with incoming calls. Here is how:

1. Open Sound Recorder on your computer and record your audio file.  Then save it as .WAV (8kHz, 16-Bit, Mono).  Or convert any other audio file (e.g., MP3) into the WAV format.
2. Convert the .WAV file into a .QCP with a converter available here: Qualcomm PureVoice

OR Record a .QCP file directly with the PureVoice Player/Recorder also available at Qualcomm's site.
3. Upload the .QCP file to PCSpix.com and then download the ring tone from your phone.
